Kia Motors Corporation announced today its global sales figures (export sales, domestic sales and sales from overseas plants) for passenger cars, recreational vehicles (RVs) and commercial vehicles for November 2011, recording a total of 220,037 units sold. This figure represents a year-on-year increase of 22.8%. In November, Kia posted strong double digit year-on-year sales increases in many of its major sales regions – 40.9% in Europe (45,985 units sold), 36.7% in North America (41,861 units sold), 33.4% in China (48,689 units sold) and 25.7% in general markets (44,471 units sold). November sales in Kia's home market of Korea declined by 11.4% (39,031 units sold).
